"Watch out!"
Samuel Thomas saw Dorothy Collins suddenly being targeted and immediately dashed forward, grabbing her waist and pulling her aside in a flash.

At the same time, a bullet whizzed past, piercing through the spot where Dorothy had been standing, embedding itself into the ground with a muffled thud.

Three more bullets sliced through the air, all aimed at Dorothy, determined to take her life.
Samuel held onto Dorothy and ducked behind the car. The female bodyguard, Xiaoyue, who had been protecting Dorothy from the driver's seat, reacted swiftly. She jumped out from the passenger side and looked at Dorothy, asking, "Miss, are you okay?"
"I'm fine!" Dorothy shook her head. Xiaoyue spoke, "It's a sniper! It must be that cunning old fox, Xu Tianwang. We should have killed him earlier!"
Xiaoyue glanced at Samuel, saying, "You protect Miss Dorothy. I'll take care of that sniper!"

Just as Xiaoyue was about to rush out, another bullet shot towards her, grazing her scalp before embedding itself in the wall opposite, forcing her to retreat.
At that moment, Samuel stood up. Xiaoyue's expression changed as she shouted, "Get down!"

Another bullet tore through the air as Samuel stood up, but he remained calm. With a flick of his wrist, a silver light flashed out.
The bullet was intercepted by the silver light and was deflected, which continued its trajectory forward.

This scene left both Dorothy and Xiaoyue stunned.
"It's over, you're safe now," Samuel said calmly.
Dorothy slowly stood up while Xiaoyue regained her composure. She looked at Samuel, "You... you killed the sniper?"
"See for yourself," Samuel replied.
Xiaoyue immediately rushed out and soon returned with the corpse of a male sniper, a silver needle still lodged in his forehead.
"He was the sniper?" Dorothy asked in shock.
"Yes!" Xiaoyue nodded, her eyes filled with awe as she glanced at Samuel. She couldn't believe that he had taken out a sniper hidden in the shadows with just a silver needle. It was incredible.
"Mr. Thomas, thank you. You've saved my life again!" Dorothy said gratefully, looking at Samuel, who responded, "You're quite the femme fatale; so many people want you dead!"
"Hey, how can you say that?" Xiaoyue glared at Samuel, but Dorothy just smiled. "A femme fatale? Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Thomas. By the way, what brings you here?"
"I live here," Samuel replied. Dorothy seemed surprised, "What a coincidence! Mr. Thomas, do you also live here?"
"You live here too?" Samuel glanced at Dorothy, who nodded, "Yes, I'm staying in Villa No. 5. Where do you live, Mr. Thomas? I’d like to visit and thank you properly sometime."
"Villa No. 1," Samuel said before leaving.

"But what if he targets you again? We should consider assigning more guards to protect you!" Xiaoyue expressed her concern.

"So quickly!" Samuel exclaimed, sipping his milk as he looked at the list in his hands.
"For the intelligence system of the Tianji Pavilion, investigating these matters is no challenge," Evie replied.

"Come in," Samuel said casually.
