With a wave of his hand, Zhiruo Blake effortlessly deflected the six bullets, sending them back toward their origin.

The sound of bullets slicing through the air echoed, and the six bullets swiftly shot back at the six hidden gunmen. In an instant, agonized cries filled the air as the gunmen, previously concealed, were all struck down.

Elder Blake watched this scene, reminiscent of a science fiction movie, his body trembling uncontrollably.
The Blake Household members were plunged into deep despair. They hadn't expected that the resurrected son of the Evan Household, whom even bullets couldn’t kill, was still human.

Cole Sharp called out, stepping forward as he addressed Samuel Thomas, “Governor Thomas of Riversea, I presume?”
“How dare you speak to the Governor like that?” an assistant beside Samuel Thomas scolded.
Without a word, Cole Sharp took out a green document and handed it to Samuel Thomas. “See for yourself.”
Samuel Thomas’s expression shifted dramatically as he opened the document, his pupils contracting in shock as he looked at Cole Sharp.
“Finished reading?”
Cole Sharp asked, to which Samuel Thomas, trembling slightly, hurriedly returned the document with respect, just as he was about to speak, Cole Sharp coldly interrupted, “Take your people and leave.”
“Yes!” Without a second word, Samuel Thomas quickly led the city defense soldiers away. Elder Blake’s face changed drastically as he called out, “Governor, you…”
But Samuel Thomas seemed not to hear him, leaving the Blake Household in a hurry.
The sudden departure of Samuel Thomas left the Blake Household in a state of confusion, not understanding what had just happened. However, Elder Blake had a vague suspicion as he focused his gaze on Cole Sharp. “Who are you?”
“Dead men don’t need to know,” Cole Sharp responded coldly, then turned his attention to Zhiruo Blake. “Heir, should we kill them all?”
“No! They can’t die yet,” Zhiruo Blake shook his head, stepping in front of Elder Blake. “If I wanted to destroy the Blake Household now, it would be effortless.”
“But I won’t do that. I won’t let you die so easily!”
“In ten days, it will be the anniversary of my parents’ deaths.”
“On that day, I want everyone who has wronged the Evan Household to come to the Evan Household and kneel before my parents and all the souls who died because of you.”
“Remember, ten days from now, I’ll be waiting for you at the Evan Household!”
“If you don’t show up, I’ll make your lives a living hell.”

Zhiruo Blake’s lips curled into a devilish smile as he gazed at the members of the Blake Household, sending chills down their spines.
With a thud, Elder Blake collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath.
Zhiruo Blake, along with Cole Sharp and Evie, disappeared from the Blake Household.
The members of the Blake Household were left in a daze, finally snapping back to reality after some time.
“Father, are you alright?” Blake hurried over to help Elder Blake up.
Taking a deep breath, Elder Blake gradually regained his composure.
“Father, what should we do now? Are we really going to bow to those dead souls at the Evan Household in ten days?”
Blake couldn’t help but question.
“Even if we go, he won’t spare us. This is just a way to humiliate and torment us.”
Elder Blake shook his head.
“Then what should we do? That boy’s abilities seem formidable, even the Governor didn’t dare to interfere!”
Blake was filled with worry, but Elder Blake sneered, “You must gather all the forces we can muster. Inform the other two families as well.
